Why do some items take longer than others?

Can I collect my order?
Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer order collection services from our premises.
When is payment taken?
Payment is processed at the checkout stage. We accept through either PayPal or via credit/debit card through secure IONOS payments portal.
My order says ‘Complete’ but I’ve not received it?
You can check on the status of an order you have made through your account, this will show the details of the order including any lead times for your items. Each stage of the order process has a different status, explained below:
Processing/Payment Confirmed - This status means that your order has been received and accepted and your goods are currently being prepared prior to dispatch
Complete - When your order is dispatched, your status changes to 'Complete', this means your order has been posted and is en route to you. ‘Complete’ is not an indication of an order being delivered.
Closed - If you have requested an order to be cancelled, this will be the status that your order will switch to.
Payment Pending - If your order stays on 'Payment Pending' for any longer than a couple of minutes then there may be an issue with the payment and you should contact our Customer Services for assistance.
Why has only part of my order shipped?
We ship your items as soon as they become available for dispatch. If you have items with longer lead times than the rest of your order, then we will ship them separately once they come back into stock. This doesn’t affect the postage you have paid. Please refer to your order confirmation email for lead times.
The address on my order is incorrect?
It is your responsibility to provide correct address details. If you believe you have entered an incorrect address please contact us as soon as possible through the Contact Us box on the side of your screen. We can then amend any errors before your order is sent.
If your order has been sent out with incorrect details then, unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any delayed or failed deliveries. If your order is returned to us as a return to sender or failed delivery then we will be in touch to arrange a re-delivery with a re-dispatch charge.
How can I track my order?
Please see our Delivery page for information on tracking your order.
I’ve not received my order

What t-shirts do you use to print on?
Whilst t-shirt quality is a subjective matter, we try wherever possible to stick with consistent brands and sizing. As a guide, t-shirts are sourced as follows:
Men’s – For the vast majority of our t-shirts we use 100% cotton* Gildan Soft Style t-shirts, but will use Gildan Heavy Cottons when these are unavailable, particularly in larger sizes. Ringer t-shirts are usually printed on Fruit of the Loom garments.
Women’s – For the vast majority of our women’s t-shirt range we use 100% cotton* Gildan Soft Style which are fitted cut garments. Based on your feedback, we’re working on offering more styles in the near future.
Kid’s – For the vast majority of our kid’s t-shirts range we use 100% cotton* Gildan Soft Style t-shirts, which are replaced by Gildan Heavy Cotton or Fruit of the Loom t-shirts when unavailable.
Imported items - These can differ depending on country of origin, supplier and even by specific design but most are printed on (but not limited to) Gildan Heavy Cotton, Gildan Soft Styles, Anvil, Fruit of the Loom and Sol’s.
*Ash grey, antique red, antique blue, antique green t-shirts tend to have a 10% acrylic/polyester, 90% cotton composition. Dark heather t-shirts are 65% polyester, 35% cotton.
What is the faint white mark under my print?
To get really lunch colours on dark garments we use something called 'pre-treat' which goes down before the ink. It is sometimes visible when you first receive your items but don't worry, it's water-based and will wash out with the first wash.
Where can I see your size guides?
You can view our size guides here.
What printing method do you use?
We’re proud to use one of the most state of the art Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printers in the country for our designs, resulting in much higher quality product. We don’t use screen-printing, although a small number of our t-shirts and hoodies are vinyl transfers.

I’m a designer, how do I sell my tees on knarstudio.com?
We work with loads of great artists and believe we have a mutually beneficial and transparent agreement in place to allow you to retain copyright of your artwork whilst earning royalties. If you’re interested in a partnership with KNAR then please get in touch with some examples of your work and we’ll happily chat with you. Ideally we’d like original designs that don’t rely heavily on slogans in a 600dpi, high quality PNG format to give us an idea of how the finished product will look.
